I work in the credit department for a wine importer/distributor and am a certified massage therapist. I LOVE being at the beach (LBI area) at any time of the year. I equally enjoy a really great snow storm. A perfect winter day is getting up, beginning to prepare something yummy for an early dinner, going for a walk together and coming back to snuggle, read the paper and/or watch some movies. Basically just a relaxing day with nothing to do but spend it with that special someone. Skiing is something I like to do, although I'm not very good at it, I still try to go at least once or more during the season. I have roller blades, but I'm not very steady on those either...lol, but willing to keep trying. I'm a lot better on regular skates in a rink. I would love to meet someone that enjoys doing that. My family and friends seem to think that I have a good sense of humor, which I think is key to all good relationships. I am blessed to have the family and friends that I have....and not just because they think I funny. I spend as much time with them as possible. Unfortunately, my folks recently moved four hours away and it's hard to do these days. I also enjoy my alone time. I don't need a whole lot of it, but I do need some. I'm basically a happy person and pretty easy going. Of course like everyone, there are things we all have to deal with in life that just plain stink. The way we deal with these issues usually makes us stronger. Hey, it can't ALL be good....can it??? I always enjoy a bottle (or two) of fine wine with dinner and great conversation. Words to live by....Hate is a strong word! Don't use it if you don't mean it. My big shortcoming - Too trusting. I think it's a real shame to even have to say that, but not everyone out there has a kind soul. Number One Pet Peeve - People who litter!!! It''s gross and there is absolutely NO reason for it. Number Two Pet Peeve - People who think massage is anything other than it actually is. So, if you are one of those people, please don't contact me. My ideal partner would be someone who plays well with others and has a good sense of humor. He should be kind, compassionate and intelligent. He shouldn't cringe if asked to dance at weddings, etc... Getting dressed up and going out is always a plus. I enjoy getting dressed like a girlie girl and going out periodically. Let's face it, I'm pretty - pretty G-- D--- hideous, to look at that is, but think about this, I'm a doctor, a physician, and a gosh darn good one. Being that I'm a doctor, I make a whole lot of money. By honest modesty I shall not share with you just how much I make, but let me tell you, I don't even need to be a stripper anymore. As a doctor, my speciality is emergency care, and I work for the great city of New York at a hospital which shall remain nameless, [hint - BV]. It gives me great pleasure to help the poor and the unfortunates who happen to wander into our emergency room. You wouldn't believe the cases that I've treated. Once there was an elderly vagabond, [a homeless person for those who are stricly politically correct], anyway - the guy had been in a rather unusual subway accident, during a drunken stupor, his foot had been caught underneath the wheel of a train and severed in half, the foot had turned to gangreane, and it was turning a putrid shade of purple. The foot was dead, and he had no money to pay the hospital bill, to help him out I amputated his foot, right above the ankle, and I gave him a set of crutches, and I doctored him up until the next day when I set him out on the street. Not even a thank-you, but I don't do what I do for the thanks. It really is the money, only kidding it's the overall satisfaction of being a healer and a helper of the helpless. For that homeless guy with the gagreaned foot, I didn't even turn in the hospital billing form, so it was all free to him. Every once in a while when I'm walking to work, I'll see him and he'll call to me hey doc, and I'll say hey how are you. He'll be hoobling around on his stump, and drunk as a skunk. I usually give him a cigarette or two, and he'll tell me a joke. That's the kind of person I am, real kind hearted. OK write to me and we'll talk about operations and kindness. Oh and by the way, Tiny Tim is my favorite musician, I cried my eyes out the day he died, and then I got drunk on Thunderbird Wine, and I passed out. One of the nurses who I work with said that I came stumbling into the emergency room at like three oclock in the morning, puked my entire stomach contents onto the floor, and I passed out right in the waiting room. The next morning, I woke up, and went right to work, seeing patients - boy o boy what a hangover. One patient who had come in with a brocken leg was so surprised to find out that I was the doctor. She had slipped on some of my vomit on the tile floor, and she was already very mad. Hey I'm a doctor, i'm not the G-- D--- custodian.
