[Pause for laughter] College, of course, doesn't actually prepare you for anything unless you actually major in something useful but equally boring like chemistry or engineering. I think the drool test is to an interview as college is to the average employer. They just want to make sure you're not a total idiot (or that if you are you can hide it well). Of course law school is about the same; nobody here teaches you anything that you couldn't learn in a few months on your own. But then again, if law school was only a few months how could lawyers justify charging $200/hr or putting Esq. after their name? Oh, the many gatekeepers... I am an introverted (read: loser) law student who likes to read all types of fiction,and listen to most types of music (folk, rock, classic rock, punk, new age). I'm also a huge movie/home theater buff, especially when it comes to foreign films. I wouldn't mind meeting a girl who could appreciate a real sound system, and know what she's talking about. Or a comic nerd who has been collecting for a while. Or a video game geek who can lament with me the sad demise of the PC RPG. Or someone who is into amateur photography. As for quirks of mine, here are a few: I'm ambidextrous, am almost always wearing blue jeans, can cuss (but not spell) in six different languages, and don't think atheist is a dirty word. I love debating about religion, politics, and philosophy. I don't care what you believe along as you can logically defend your beliefs.
